Fumed silica, commonly referred to as fumed white carbon black, is a premium, non-toxic, tasteless, amorphous inorganic fine chemical. It is meticulously crafted through the high-temperature hydrolysis of chlorosilane in a hydrogen and oxygen flame. By precisely adjusting the process conditions, our fumed silica can vary in primary particle size from 7 to 40 nm and boast a specific surface area ranging from 50 to 400 m²/g.
Model | Specific surface area (BET) | PH value of suspension (4%) | Burn loss (%) | Sieve residue (45um) (mg/kg) | Filling density (based on the product after drying at 105ºC for 2 h) (g/L) | Silica content (based on burnt product) (m/m%) | Carbon content (based on the product after drying at 105ºC for 2h) (m/m%) |

With its small particle size, large specific surface area, and high surface activity, fumed silica is versatile and highly beneficial across multiple industries. It offers excellent reinforcement, thickening, thixotropy, matting, ultraviolet resistance, and sterilization properties, making it ideal for applications in rubber, coatings, adhesives, paints, inks, plastics, cosmetics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and more.
