Fumed silica, often referred to as fumed white carbon black, is a pristine, non-toxic, and tasteless amorphous inorganic fine chemical. This remarkable product is derived from the hydrolysis of chlorosilane at elevated temperatures in a hydrogen and oxygen flame. By meticulously adjusting the process parameters, we can manufacture fumed silica with primary particle sizes ranging from 7 to 40 nm and a specific surface area spanning 50 to 400 m²/g.
